About retreat
Our days will include the sharing of intentions, bathing in sound energy, whalewatching, swimming and snorkelling, enjoying humpback whales and nature’s gardens, dancing sacred hula dance and enjoying special Hawaiian stories. Bringing our soul voices together.
Our intention for these ten special days is to uplift and transform you. All of the events you will experience will be heartening and clarifying.

In February, March WHALES are breaching out in Maui, whale watching is just breath-taking. We are adding them to our special inner journey. With WHALE WATCHING tour in special boats we will be very close to them, breathing in their energies and embrace them in beautiful Maui ocean waters.
Imagine seeing the eye of the whale and see your soul in it… Deepest knowledge of the Universe… Imagine… How beautiful it is, when you see different interactions with them in the ocean… And feel this connection inside your body, feel the frequencies of their sounds… just feel…

SOUND is another CREATIVE TOOL that can embody our soul even more, it nurtures us and holds us in a space of love. With CRYSTAL BOWLS and VOICE we will create nurturing space of healing, we can release impurities and enjoy how our 'caterpillar' is evolving into beautiful butterfly.
HULA dance is a part of Hawaiian knowledge, their spirit, their culture, their ALOHA.
Hula is deeply interwoven with the sacred rituals of Hawai'i, serving as a medium through which Hawaiians connect with their deities and honour their natural surroundings. It was originally performed in religious ceremonies, its movements and chants reenacting the stories of gods and the creation of the islands.
As to feel deep connection to the islands, it is truly important to feel Hula, and the ceremonies that go with it. Imagine yourself trying to dance one easy hula dance, shared from my kumu hula… Imagine embracing the land with a ceremonies… And be more than a tourist.
Retreat will combine all above services in a balanced sequences, in between we will see/hike on land of Maui and O'ahu, two islands that have energies of love, sacred creativity and power of voice and healing.
Beauty of land, cetaceans, hula dance, sacred Hawaiian knowledge, as you have maybe never seen before.
Program
24th February - 5th March 2025
Day 1
Arrival, journey from Kahului Airport to Kānapali with stops (whalewatching) .Check in (we will stay on the West side of Maui), time for snorkeling and connecting with the ocean, sound bath and setting intentions for our retreat.
Day 2
Whalewatching boat tour from Mala (Lahaina Town), snorkeling and embracing the beautiful sunset in Maui with a sound bath.
Day 3
Driving to the famous Road to Hana, the sacredness of the land, walk around and embrace the beauty with sacred meditation.
Day 4
Snorkeling to another beautiful ocean lagoon, watching turtles, embrace the ocean, in afternoon we have another whalewatching tour .
Day 5
Drive to Hāleakala vulcano, creating a sacred ceremony, go to Paia Town and have a late whalewatching tour.
Day 6
Leaving Maui, flying to O'ahu. Check in and have a late evening with our special kumu, well -known in Hawaiian culture, Kilohana Silve. Tjasa and Kilohana will introduce you a KaniOla sound bath, interwieving voices, Hawaiian chants and sounds of crystal bowls together.
Day 7
Workshop with and amazing kumu Kilohana Silve, listening to sacred Hawaiian stories, knowledge of Hawaiian paradise, learning hula dance and different other ceremonies that kumu will choose for us. In afternoon, we will watch famous Sunset in Waikiki and hear Hawaiian band s with local dances.
Day 8
Going to Ho'omaluhia botanical Gardens to enjoy the beauty of the land. In afternoon we have another beautiful workshop with kumu.
Day 9
Hula workshop - sacred ceremonies, knowledge, seiing Mānoa Heritage Center, walking to Mānoa falls. In the evening we will go to Sandy Beach to conclude our journey.
Day 10
Finishing the retreat and journey back home... If someone will need any advice for going to another island I will be happy to give it. If you need me to organise it for you, I will do it for a small amount of money.
Price
PRICING and ACCOMMODATION
In Maui we will stay on the West side, Kaanapali area, beautiful center and rooms, close to the ocean. O’ahu we will stay in Mānoa Valley area, special old style house with beautiful green surroundings.
PRICE FOR ONE PERSON:
EUR 2,950 for payment by December 1, 2024, and EUR 3,250 for payment by February 1, 2025.
Upon registration, you pay a EUR 1,000 deposit, the rest until February 1, 2025. The deposit is non-refundable.

FLIGHTS
Look for return flights to Kahului, Maui.

Please look for flights arriving on February 24th in the morning.
PICK UP AND DROP OFF IN KAHULUI/HONOLULU AIRPORT
I will come by myself to pick you up with a van, in case of different arriving hours, there will be a taxi waiting for you.
TRANSPORTATION
We will have a minivan to transport us to all activities.
MONEY
Local currency is USD. You can allways pay with cards, cash, for boat tips you need cash.
FOOD AND COOKING
All of the food is your responsibility. There are some restaurants around, where we can go together and eat a meal or we will stop at the groceries store, so you can bring the food to the place we stay. The place we are staying has a fully equipped kitchen. You will be able to cook or prepare your meals there. Sometimes we will stop and eat on the way to different activities.
SUN and MOSQUITOS
Sunscreen, sun hat, rash-guard, and whatever else you need to stay protected. Boats have a tiny shade too.
SWIMMING, SNORKELING
You need your own snorkel, mask and fins. It is good to have them, as life in a bay is gorgeous to see. It is easy to put them in a suitcase.
HULA WORKSHOP
You can bring light things to wear.

My journey in Hawaii started 4 years ago, when my heart called me to Hawaii island (Big island) to swim with dolphins. Since then I am thrilled with Hawaiian culture, I dance hula, learn oli, perform, go to whale watching tours, enjoy being in ocean with all magical high vibrational beings and embrace all beauty in these islands.
My love for ocean beings is big, it took me to different countries, including Mo'orea, where I was swimming with humpbacks and Mexico, where I was swimming with whale shark, closely watching blue whale, grey whales and orcas.
As I am always surrounding myself with supportive, loving and aloha energies, I found Hawaii islands nurturing for me. Islands showed me their culture and healing remedies. I was introduced to some special kahuna people, which brought my remembrance of this land back. In addition, for me most beautiful knowledge that I have learned in Hawaii is Sacred Hula Dance with a special kumu Kilohana Silve.
With my special world - travelling crystal singing bowls and voice I bless these islands and bring to them my warm aloha.
Working with sound for 17years, I created many retreats, workshops, seminars and sound baths in Slovenia, recorded 2 CD's, were part of many performances, conferences, events.
All this brought to me a lovely conclusion: I want to bring beautiful experiences to YOU, that is reading this.

SPECIAL TEACHER, native Hawaiian kumu Kilohana Silve
Sacred Kumu Hula, workshop facilitator
Kilohana Silve received her foundation in hula and choreography from Kumu Hula Ellen Pukaikapuaokalani Castillo. She had the privilege of studying with Hula Master George Holokai, and was amongst the ‘ūniki graduates of Kimo Alana Keaulana’s Lei Hulu Papa ‘Uniki ‘Ehā. She continues to study oli with Sam ‘Ohukani’ōhiʻa Gon of Hālau Mele. As a storyteller, Kilohana Silve has participated in the Annual Talk Story Festival in Honolulu and released a CD of Hawaiian tales, chants and music.
Kilohana Silve has always sought to promote Hawaiian culture abroad by curating exhibitions as an art historian and through a cross-cultural approach to hula. She founded the first Hawaiian dance school in France, Hālau Hula O Mānoa, named after the valley in which she was born. After 30 years in Paris, she returned to Hawaiʻi and continues to teach haumāna (students) in Honolulu, Juneau (Alaska) and Beijing (China).
Through her classes at Kapiʻolani Hospital Women’s Center, Kokua Kalihi Valley clinic and the Salvation Army’s drug recovery program, as well as her involvement in the Ola Hou I Ka Hula study conducted by researchers at the University of Hawaiʻi and The Queen’s Medical Center, she has become a pioneer in the promising new field of Hula for Health.
